Mercer & Toby on June 16th '02
We placed Toby & Mercer in the same position as the Mother's Day photo in our driveway. Too bad the beautiful pink azalea blossoms were all gone, but at least we have a good comparison for showing the puppy's growth.
He's in Puppy kindergarten class now & is doing very well. He learns quickly & is very gentle with people and other dogs. We're real happy with his progress.

This is Mercer's musical teddy bear. He loves to toss it into the air & bite it in order to make the music play. The first time he heard the music the bear makes he was amazed. He's loved it ever since.
He's very good at amusing himself with this little bear & all his other toys as well as with Toby & Rudy.

4th of July & really hot in Virginia
It was so hot the week of July 4th here on the East Coast. We stayed inside a lot & enjoyed the air conditioning. This photo was taken in the cooler part of the day as the sun set, so the light was a bit low, but you can see how BIG mercer is getting. He's a horse! Thankfully, he's still very gentle & listens well. |

Mercer & Toby September 14th '02
Well, Mercer is now nearly 50 pounds at seven months of age. He's had a very busy summer and is learning new things all the time. He now goes to restaurants with us and is so well behaved that people don't even notice he's there. He gets lots of compliments on how good he is. Next week he starts another obedience class and we look forward to improving the skills he's already developed, in addition to the new things they'll teach him in class. We're very happy about his progress. |
