Exciting news about Shea & Mercer
As of September, 2007, Shea has published her first book. It's called "MARVELOUS MERCER." www.marvelousmercer.com Of course, it's a story about her best pal & service dog, Mercer. It's a children's book dealing with a fantasy about Mercer & some of his dog friends sneaking out of the house at night to learn how to ice skate. They're having a book signing event in Manhattan at the FAO Schwarz toy store on September 29th, 2007 from 1 to 3. Proceeds from the book will support research for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA www.walkforshea.com ), which is the disease Shea has. Canine Companions for Independence www.cci.org will also benefit.
